With 36 studio albums between them, these two have sheer numbers backing their status as a powerful couple in music. The two were married in 2003 at the home of friend Elton John and have two children together.

The old adage “behind every great man is a great woman” certainly applies in this case. As a member of the E Street Band since 1984, Patti Scialfa and Bruce Springsteen share a long history with one another having been married since 1991. Bruce has sold over 64 million albums in America and over 120 million worldwide. Patti has released three albums herself and is reportedly working on a fourth record. Springsteen and Scialfa have three children together.
3.) Beyoncé and Jay Z:

Some may call her Mrs. Carter, but first and foremost she is Beyoncé. After hitting the scene with Destiny’s Child in the late 90s, she started to gain attention for her music. When Destiny’s Child broke up in 2005, Beyoncé set out on a solo career.
Outside of making best-selling albums, Jay Z founded Roc-A-Fella Records, which became his first of many entrepreneurial endeavors. He continued to release music, as well as run a myriad of projects like the clothing brand Rocawear and being part-owner of the Brooklyn Nets. Most recently, Beyonce and Jay Z finished up the On The Run Tour, a massive 21-stop world tour showcasing the best of both. That tour alone made the couple $109,610,198.

About 33 million records and three children later, these two have earned their seat as one of the most powerful couples in music. Stefani broke into the music industry with No Doubt in 1986. After releasing their first album in 1992, No Doubt continued to produce albums and rack up awards.
In 1995, No Doubt signed on to support Bush on tour, bringing Stefani and bassist/vocalist Rossdale together. They were married in 2002, and today both are still very active in the music industry.
Stefani was a coach on NBC’s The Voice, has a clothing and fragrance line and Rossdale has appeared a number of Hollywood productions as well as keeping busy with Bush since their reunion in 2010.
